In the summer of 2006 I purchased a 2HP Super Dust Gorilla. Don R. was my salesman. Absolutely every aspect of the process was handled professionally by Don, from answering some of my initial questions thru the purchase of the Dust Gorilla and ductwork. The installation instructions were easy to follow and understand. After just a few hours the Dust Gorilla was completely installed, and then I began to assemble all of the ductwork. The CAD drawing I had received from Don showed all of the components (pipe, elbows, blast gates, etc) so it made the ductwork assembly easy.
As a hobbyist woodworker, I have to watch my tool budget very closely and I'm pleased to say that purchasing a Dust Gorilla was one of my wiser tool purchases. It certainly was money well spent. I've been using my Dust Gorilla for 6 months and it has exceeded my own expectations. The suction from this machine is incredible. The air I breathe is cleaner and I spend much less time cleaning up my shop. The fiber drum that came with the unit is light-weight and easy to empty.
I recently completed two corner hutches for my wife for Christmas. The Dust Gorilla helps to make the entire woodworking process more enjoyable.
Attached are a few pictures of my shop after the installation was completed, as well as the corner hutches I just completed. My miter saw was typically my worst machine for collecting dust. I built an enclosure for it and added a 5" duct, and now very little dust escapes.
