Plenum Exhaust Silencers

While dust collectors are almost always quieter than the power tools in your shop, reducing noise is always beneficial to shop operators. These silencer fittings install between your fan blower's exhaust and the filter plenum to dampen air vibrations and reduce total system noise output by 3-6 dBa.

Quiet Your Dust Collector As Much As 6 dBA

While nearly every Oneida Air Systems® dust collector includes our patented Drop-In Filter Silencers, we offer these industrial Plenum Exhaust Silencers for customers looking to reduce their system's noise output even further. Constructed from heavy galvanized steel, these components use acoustic dampening foam (shielded by an internal metal screen) to absorb the vibrating air expelled from the fan blower.

Both ends of the silencer are pre-crimped to facilitate installation into existing piping. Square-to-round adapters may be needed for installation with some OAS dust collection systems. Oneida Air also offers silencers that are compatible with Quick-Clamp (Nordfab) fittings - call for details
