At 4" tall, the Dust Deputy Low-Pro is our most compact separator, able to fit underneath a workbench and in other tight spaces. Uniquely designed to offer up to 50% more airflow (CFM) and allow debris to pass through unobstructed—two common limitations of other lid-style separators—the Dust Deputy Low-Pro excels in its ability to collect a variety of materials, from wood dust to trash, and more.

Like the original Dust Deputy cyclone, the new Dust Deputy Low-Pro pre-separates up to 99.9% of dust and debris before it reaches your vacuum’s filter, eliminating clogging and suction loss while extending the life of your filter. Made from clear, durable resin and designed for vacuums with 2.5" hoses, the Low-Pro lid separator attaches to any standard 5-gallon bucket with included latches. Proudly designed, tested, and manufactured right here in the United States of America!

How do I prevent my bucket from collapsing with my Dust Deputy or Low-Pro?

Ensure your bucket is not old, damaged, or thin-walled. To increase the strength of a thin-walled bucket, you can stack two buckets together. Two stacked thin-walled buckets will work well to avoid bucket collapse. Ideally, we recommend a bucket with a 90 mil wall thickness or higher. A 90-mil or higher walled bucket will completely avoid bucket collapse.

Why is my Dust Deputy Low-Pro not collecting fine dust?

If fine dust is getting through your Dust Deputy Low-Pro, the first step is to check for an air leak in your setup. Click "Read More" for instructions and troubleshooting suggestions.

How does the Low-Pro compare to the taller cyclones?

What are the minimum specs needed for the Dust Deputy?

Rather than worrying about what specs your vacuum needs (e.g. air watts, cfm, static lift, etc.), we at Oneida Air Systems have a much simpler approach - simply match the size of your vacuum's inlet to the size of the Dust Deputy cyclone's ports. The Dust Deputy cyclone's tapered 2" ports are designed to work with any make and model wet/dry vacuum on the market today, regardless of horsepower, wattage, etc. Most vacuums will have an inlet ranging from 1.5" to 2.5" in diameter - perfect for our cyclone. Keep in mind that every component installed onto your vacuum will have an effect on the system's suction power. That includes your hose, hose attachments, adapters, elbows, couplers, etc.
