Ideal for reducing the diameter of round duct and sheet metal pipe to insert into similar size pipe. Re-use scrap lengths of pipe cut-offs, and make those stubborn pieces fit together easier. Fitted with 5 precision ground blades so you can make a perfect uniform crimp on sheet metal up to 20 gauge. Recommended for light or heavy gauge sheet metal ducting (e.g. furnace, smoke, wall stacks, air ducts, water heater vent pipes, and downspouts).
For natural indraw on metal, always start your cuts with the three bladed-side on top.
- Throat Depth: Crimps up to 1 5/8" back from end for good overlap connection
