8" LR Adjustable Elbow

Made from separate gores (independently rotating sections) that adjust to form angles ranging from 0 to 90 degrees. The elbow is pre-crimped on one end for simple installation into existing piping.

Overview

This ductwork elbow is manufactured from heavy-duty galvanized steel as separate, independently rotating sections (called gores). This allows the elbow fitting to be adjusted to form any angle from 0 to 90 degrees. This fitting's large radius construction minimizes air resistance, making it ideal for dust collection applications.

The elbow is crimped on one end and raw (uncrimped) on the other to simplify installation into existing 8" I.D. ductwork. Crimps should be pointed in the direction of the airflow (i.e. towards the dust collector) for optimal performance. We recommend that the seams of the elbow gores be taped or caulked once the installation is finalized to eliminate any air leaks.

Please Note: Be sure to wear protective work gloves when handling sheet metal ducting as the edges can be very sharp.
