5" x 6" Molded Super Dust Deputy Cyclone Separator w/ 4" Adapters (6" Mounting Flange)

For use with 1/2hp to 3hp single stage dust collectors, this DIY cyclone eliminates filter clogging, suction loss, and messy dust bags by removing up to 99.9% of fine dust and debris from the airstream, containing it safely in a customer supplied container. Ready out of the box to connect to your dust collector with either a 4" or 6" hose, and to your tools with either a 4" or 5" hose.

Supercharge Your Shop's Single-Stage Dust Collector

Single-stage dust collectors are great for small, hobbyist shops but they come with a cost - fine dust quickly clogs the filter, reducing suction and leaving dust at your tools! Worse still, there's nothing to protect your dust collector from being damaged should you accidentally suck up large wood chunks, bolts, etc.

How do you improve your dust collector's performance while dramatically reducing the need to clean or replace its filter? Install our cyclone!

Oneida Air Systems' patented Super Dust Deputy® cyclone separates up to 99.9% of dust and debris from the incoming airstream, virtually eliminating filter clogging, suction loss, and significantly prolonging the lifespan of your filter. Retrofit the cyclone into any dust collection setup with 4" – 6" ductwork and hose fittings.

Benefits & Features

  • Prevents both fine dust and large debris from reaching your dust collector
  • Prolongs the lifespan of the filter while reducing the need for cleanings
  • Ultra-high efficiency design with integrated air ramp and neutral-vane inlet minimizes static pressure loss
  • Compatible with almost any make/model dust collector (e.g. Delta, Grizzly, Harbor Freight, Jet, etc.)
  • Lightweight and compact design for fast and simple installations
  • Cyclone molded from an industrial, abrasion resistant HDPE resin for light duty materials
  • Static dissipative construction safely conveys static charge build-up to the electrical ground, preventing harmful discharges
  • 4/5" Models: Includes 4" reducer adapters for both the inlet and outlet
  • 4/5" Models: Tapered ports allow for easy, friction fit flex-hose connections.
  • 6" Models: Ports sized for use with crimped ductwork fittings (Learn More)
  • Deluxe Kit: Includes a lightweight, 15-gallon fiberboard dust bin with quick-release latch

Special Note for Making Connections to Your 6" Molded Cyclone

The Super Dust Deputy XL Cyclone Separator's 6" inlet and outlet ports are sized to accommodate the use of crimped ductwork fittings directly into either port because their primary application (i.e. retrofitting 3-5hp single-stage dust collectors) most commonly involves a ducted shop layout.

However, if you need to connect flex-hose or uncrimped duct fittings to the cyclone's ports then you will need our 6" Hose Adapter (#DAO06000). This adapter is bi-directional to accommodate hose diameters from different manufacturers that may be more snug than others.

Watch The Sawdust Girl make a cheap DC work way better with our Super Dust Deputy cyclone separator.
How do I connect the 4/5 cyclone to my dust collector's 5" inlet?
We recommend that a 6x5 steel reducer (item #DRL060500) be installed on the cyclone's top outlet port. The 6" end should be uncrimped for a proper fitting into the outlet.
Which Super Dust Deputy cyclone do I need?
If your shop has fixed piping that matches the diameter of your dust collector's intake, choose a cyclone that matches that diameter as well. The collector's horsepower and CFM do not affect the performance of the different models. For more details, click "Read More".
How does the Low-Pro compare to the taller cyclones?
The separation efficiency is comparable between the Low-Pro and original Dust Deputy - both are rated for up to 99.9% of dust and debris. Click "Read More" to learn more about the differences between the Dust Deputy cyclones.
What is a static dissipative material?
Static dissipative (SD) refers to the material's electrical conductivity. SD materials are superior to anti-static (AS) materials, but not quite as good as conductive or static conductive (SC) materials in terms of reducing static charge build-up.
Do you have a Super Dust Deputy that can fit underneath a workbench?
No. We do not offer a "low profile" version of our Super Dust Deputy.
How do I connect my cyclone to PVC pipe?
We do not recommend the use of plastic PVC pipe in dust collection applications due to the static charge it creates. We do not offer adapters for connecting our cyclones to this type of piping, only rigid steel ductwork.
