Cyclone separators work by utilizing the momentum of incoming particulates to mechanically separate materials of different densities--similar to how a centrifuge works. For woodworking dust collection, the inbound air velocity is used to literally spin the dust out of the air.
I’m retired and spend my days woodworking in my basement shop in Danville, Virginia. I’ve been woodworking since I was about 12 years old. My projects vary, although I’m partial to turning, especially bowls and vases. I enjoy making things for family and friends. I love my Dust Gorilla Pro.
