Preserve Future Duct Expansions
When planning ductwork for dust collection, it's common that some duct branches may be unfinished as they await the purchase and/or installation of new tools. In these instances, End Caps can be useful for closing off unused ductwork – preserving them for future expansions.
The crimped end of this fitting fits snugly into raw ended snaplock pipe, wyes, or elbows, and should be secured in place using sheet metal screws or pop rivets and sealed with silicone caulk or foil tape.
