Most producers of high quality dust collection systems are industrial in nature and do not work with small shops like mine. Oneida offers quality, well designed equipment and an excellent design service program. I briefly considered other manufacturers but other systems (Jet, Grizzly, Laguna) cannot even compare with Oneida.
My project took several consultations and revisions to account for my shop's layout and many tools but Lisa (my rep) was very responsive and highly competent.
She had an answer for every one of my many questions regarding the system and its performance with each and every one of my tools; She was very easy to work with during phone conversations. I picked up my order directly from the factory in Syracuse and the staff in shipping & receiving were very helpful and cordial. The packaging on the system itself was also excellent.
Of course, as with anything, there is always room for improvements but I had no major complaints with the system or the ductwork. The design was spot on but I do wish there was a better way to join together certain ductwork components, such as the pipe and blast gate fittings.
Would I recommend Oneida Air Systems? YES! - without reservation! Having used the system for several weeks, I'm very satisfied with it and it performs quite admirably. I've attached several pictures and a video of the system installed in my shop.
