Crimped on one end for easy flex hose connections. Raw end attaches over blast gate inlet.

Blast Gate Adapters are short sections of galvanized steel pipe that are crimped on one end and raw on the other.

Attach the adapter to the side of the blast gate that flexible hose will be connected to. The raw end slides over the blast gate and is held in place with either sheet metal screws or pop rivets. You will need to pre-drill the aluminum blast gates. The aluminum gate is tapered and will be smaller than the blast gate adapter. You will need to seal this joint with silicone to make it air-tight.

Do you make custom ductwork components?
No we do not make parts to order.
What's the best way to apply foil tape on ductwork?
We've heard from many customers who've had great success using a simple Wallpaper Roller to smooth out their foil tape, giving a very smooth, clean look on your ducting. The roller helps smooth out air bubbles and crinkled marks while making it easier to get those hard to reach places on hanging ductwork. We do not carry this product but it can be found easily at your local hardware store or home renovation outlet.
