Spiral Pipe Adapters

Short sections of galvanized steel duct, pre-crimped on both ends.

Spiral Pipe Adapters are short sections of galvanized steel ducting that are pre-crimped (male) on both ends. They can be used in a variety of applications for easily coupling together non-crimped (female) ended fittings such as those on Spiral Pipe, Heavy Elbows, machine ports, and more!

Ductwork Installation Steps:

  1. Slide the adapter into place. Use caution when handling as sheet metal fittings can have sharp edges.
  2. Secure the fittings using either self-tapping sheet metal screws or pop rivets.
  3. Seal the assembly using silicone caulk or foil tape. Ensure that it is air-tight.

Do you make custom ductwork components?
No we do not make parts to order.
does the straight fit directly on dust collector or do I need a spiral adapter?
Our Snap-Lock pipe is pre-crimped on one end to fit easily into the inlet of our dust collector's. You would only need a Spiral Pipe (Male-to-Male) Adapter if you were connecting Spiral Pipe (or other non-crimped ductwork) to the dust collector's inlet.
How do I connect Spiral Pipe components?
Industrial, spiral pipe components are raw on both ends. The simplest way to connect them is to use our Spiral Pipe Adapters; crimped on both ends, these fittings slip into each raw pipe and can be secured in place using machine screws or pop rivets.
What's the best way to apply foil tape on ductwork?
We've heard from many customers who've had great success using a simple Wallpaper Roller to smooth out their foil tape, giving a very smooth, clean look on your ducting. The roller helps smooth out air bubbles and crinkled marks while making it easier to get those hard to reach places on hanging ductwork. We do not carry this product but it can be found easily at your local hardware store or home renovation outlet.
