Continuously High Airflow Performance

Your dust collector should perform at peak efficiency at all times to ensure the health, safety, and quality of your work. That's why Oneida Air Systems uses only the highest quality motors with our dust collection systems. Far superior than the cheap, foreign imported motors used by other manufacturers, our industrial-grade motors are built to last a lifetime.

  • High-efficiency, U.S. made fan motor
  • Delivers ample airflow for collecting from up to 2 machines with 4" to 6" dust ports.
  • Industrial brushless motor designed for continuous duty
  • Radio frequency (RF) remote control works through walls up to 100 feet away
  • System's inlet and outlet rotate independently at 45 degree increments to suit your shop's needs.
  • Low pitch noise level provides ideal operator comfort

Streamlined Integrated Cyclone Separator

The V-System features an ultra-high efficiency cyclone which pre-separates up to 99% of fine dust and bulk debris, removing it from the airstream and collecting it safely below the cyclone.

  • Virtually eliminates filter clogging and suction loss to provide continuous suction performance.
  • Significantly extends the lifespan of the filter and reduces downtime needed for cleaning.
  • Smooth, molded design reduces air turbulence to improve airflow performance and lower overall noise output.
  • 7" dia. neutral-vane inlet for use with common 6" ductwork layouts (reducers available).
  • Patented "V-Shape" cyclone design minimizes the system's overall height while maintaining airflow and separation efficiency.
V-System Filter and Plenum

High Quality & Serviceable Filtration

The V-System system uses certified H12 HEPA media cartridge filters that are specifically designed for dust collection applications - providing unbeatable airflow and filtration performance.

  • We full stand by the quality and performance of our filters; each filter is sent to an accredited independent testing lab. Contact us for more information and documentation.
  • Stacking Sound Filter and internal silencer reduce overall noise output of the system by up to 6 dBA. The V-3000 is one of the industry's quietest dust collection systems!
  • Patented Flame Guard™ safety mesh rapidly dissipate any heat generated by a deflagration within your filter, helping to comply with future planned NFPA fire safety codes.
  • Fine dust pan captures residual dust that falls off the inside of the filter. Can be removed easily for cleaning after reverse blowing compressed air into the pleats.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I clean the dust collector's cartridge filter?

This can vary widely depending on how often your dust collector is used and what kind of dusts it's exposed to but you should typically clean it only once you've noticed a considerable drop in suction performance. In our experience this can be around once per year, but with heavy amounts of sanding it could be as often as once per month.

A meter such as our Filter Efficiency Gauge can also be used to monitor pressure buildup and inform you when the filter need's to be cleaned.

What is the floor space required for the V-1500 w/ 35 gallon drum?

On the floor, the V-System's stand is a 30" x 30" square. How wide the overall system is depends on the orientation of your filter plenum. If the plenum is oriented ninety degrees clockwise from the system's inlet, then the overall width would be 47". Please refer to the owner's manual for more detailed dimensions.

Can it be used with a smaller dust bin to lower the total height to 80”

With the stand, the V-System's overall height cannot be lower than 87" (for 1.5HP) or 88" (for 3HP). Oneida Air Systems does offer wall-mounting brackets for the V-System, available by phone order only. This would allow you to mount the V-System dust collector at a lower height for use with smaller containers. Please note that you may have to empty the smaller drum much more frequently depending on your workflow.

What is the height of the v 3000 system

The V-3000 dust collector measures 88" tall. You can find more detailed dimensions by referencing the Owner's Manual, posted on the product page under the "Documents" tab.

Why does the bin level indicator flash when the bin is empty?

Because the Dust Sentry works via an adjustable infrared sensor, this can sometimes trigger false positives with an empty container because of the reflective surface at the bottom of the steel drum.

This can be resolved by painting/coloring the inside bottom of the drum so that it is no longer reflective enough to affect the sensor.

Will the 3HP motor work with 208 volt single phase power?

Yes. The V-3000 dust collector can be operated at a voltage range of 208V to 230V in single phase.

What do I need to know about NFPA regulations?

Fire protection regulations are a complex and ever-changing set of rules that differ from facility to facility. Click the "read more" link to review our Best Practices for Dust Collection Fire Safety or contact us for more detailed assistance.
