Super Dust Deputy 4/5 Deluxe Cyclone Kit

For use with 1/2hp to 3hp single stage dust collectors, this cyclone kit eliminates filter clogging, suction loss, and messy dust bags by removing up to 99.9% of fine dust and debris from the airstream, containing it safely in a lightweight, 15-gallon fiberboard dust bin. Ready out of the box to connect to your dust collector with either a 4" or 6" hose, and to your tools with either a 4" or 5" hose.

Upgrade Your Single-Stage Dust Collector and Say Goodbye to Clogged Filters!

Single-stage dust collectors are great for small, hobbyist shops but they come with a cost - fine dust quickly clogs the filter, reducing suction and leaving dust at your tools! Worse still, there's nothing to protect your dust collector from being damaged should you accidentally suck up large wood chunks, bolts, etc.

How do you improve your dust collector's performance while dramatically reducing the need to clean or replace its filter? Install our cyclone!

Oneida Air Systems' patented Super Dust Deputy® cyclone separates up to 99.9% of dust and debris from the incoming airstream, virtually eliminating filter clogging, suction loss, and significantly prolonging the lifespan of your filter. (US Pat. #7282074, #D703401).

Unique Benefits & Features

  • Prevents both fine dust and large debris from reaching your dust collector
  • Includes reducer adapters to convert both the 5" inlet (connects to your tools) and 6" outlet (connects to your collector) to 4" ports
  • Deluxe kit includes a lightweight, 15-gallon dust bin with quick-release latch
  • Prolongs the lifespan of the filter while reducing the need for cleanings
  • Ultra-high efficiency with integrated air ramp and neutral-vane inlet
  • Tapered intake and exhaust ports allow for easy, friction fit flex-hose connections.
  • Lightweight and compact design for fast and simple installations
  • Compatible with almost any dust collector (e.g. Delta, Grizzly, Harbor Freight, Jet, etc.)
  • Cyclone molded from an industrial, abrasion resistant HDPE resin
  • Static dissipative construction safely conveys static charge build-up to the electrical ground, preventing harmful discharges

Watch The Sawdust Girl make a cheap DC work way better with our Super Dust Deputy cyclone separator.
How do I connect the 4/5 cyclone to my dust collector's 5" inlet?
We recommend that a 6x5 steel reducer (item #DRL060500) be installed on the cyclone's top outlet port. The 6" end should be uncrimped for a proper fitting into the outlet.
Which Super Dust Deputy cyclone do I need?
If your shop has fixed piping that matches the diameter of your dust collector's intake, choose a cyclone that matches that diameter as well. The collector's horsepower and CFM do not affect the performance of the different models. For more details, click "Read More".
How does the Low-Pro compare to the taller cyclones?
The separation efficiency is comparable between the Low-Pro and original Dust Deputy - both are rated for up to 99.9% of dust and debris. Click "Read More" to learn more about the differences between the Dust Deputy cyclones.
What is a static dissipative material?
Static dissipative (SD) refers to the material's electrical conductivity. SD materials are superior to anti-static (AS) materials, but not quite as good as conductive or static conductive (SC) materials in terms of reducing static charge build-up.
How can I tell when the 15 gallon drum is full?
Since there is no viewing window included on the fiber drum of the Super Dust Deputy Deluxe Kit, checking the fill level will require that you manually open the drum. How quickly your container is filled with vary significantly with what type of work you're doing (e.g. cutting, sanding, planing, etc.). We recommend checking the drum fairly often once you've first installed the cyclone. This will help you develop an instinct for how quickly the container is filled. Alternatively, our Dust Sentry Bin Level Indicator can be installed to the cyclone/drum lid. This infrared sensor will automatically alert you once the drum has reached a preset fill level of your choosing. Ensure that the sensor is fully sealed when installed to the curved lid.
Do you have a Super Dust Deputy that can fit underneath a workbench?
No. We do not offer a "low profile" version of our Super Dust Deputy.
How do I connect my cyclone to PVC pipe?
We do not recommend the use of plastic PVC pipe in dust collection applications due to the static charge it creates. We do not offer adapters for connecting our cyclones to this type of piping, only rigid steel ductwork.
