Blast gates let you control the airflow of your dust collection system in order to achieve maximum suction at a desired tool station. But with today's large tools and high performance dust collection systems, multiple blast gates often need to be open at once or frequently closed and opened. In most instances you also need to ensure at least one gate is always open to avoid deadheading the system and collapsing the ductwork.
So, how do you take account of all of these issues in a modern, well equipped workshop? iVAC's automated blast gates let you control your airflow precisely and automatically – taking the hassle out of manually working the gates and ensuring your tools have the suction they need when they need it.

Electrically driven and programmable. Can be controlled:
- Automatically - when the power tool is turned on, the iVAC Tool Interface (Pro Tool Plus Sensor) sends a wireless signal instructing the iVAC Pro Switch to turn on the Dust Collector, and this same signal is used to instruct the blast gate to open. When the power tool turns off it instructs the blast gate to close.
- By Remote Control - An iVAC Pro Remote Control is used to send the Open and Close commands to the blast gate as needed. Multiple remotes can be programmed for various blast gates.
- By Wired Remote Cable - A 10-foot wired cable (sold separately) can be connected to the blast gate and positioned near the tool to control the gate as needed.
- Optional One Blast Gate Always Open feature to accommodate high performance systems.
- Straightforward installation with each gate powered by a 115V AC adapter.
- Large 6" collars easily attach to existing ductwork (5" adapter sold separately).
- Self cleaning mechanism removes dust buildup from the removeable gate plate.
- Bright LED indicates the Open/Closed status of the gate from afar.
- Opens and Closes in 3.5 seconds.
- Built-in motor overload protection.
